vwj
Video Writing Journal

For five months in 2007, I kept a Video Writing Journal about my academic writing projects. When the project was complete, I posted this summary on my blog.

jnp
Journal of Nano/Poetics

The Journal of Nano/Poetics (JNP) is a peer-review, online journal dedicated to publishing risk-taking, high-quality poetry and scholarship in the fields of nano/poetics and nano/poetry, including work on microsemantics, minimalanalysis, and particle fiction.

scape
UW Textscape

University of Washington Textscape project. I never quite completed my "documentation" of the UW textscape, but it is a project I've taken up again at UIUC—this time with the help of students in English 482 and sponsorship by the Ethnography of the University project. (site online 2004)

press
perfectspeling.com

Yes this is a joke. Yes this is for real. The Perfect Speling Press, fine (and not-so-fine) publisher of rare pamphlets, comics, and zines. (since 1999)

gallery
Gallery of Found Objects

Found notes, lists, and other stuff. Not updated for a while, but there's still a chance you'll find something you lost in this gallery. (online since 2000)

busride
Busride Blog

Of all the blogs I've maintained over the years, this was my favorite. Ride the bus; blog about riding the bus. (active 4.2001-4.2004 while living in Seattle)

buzz
Etch-A-Sketch Drawings

While working on my dissertation, I got involved in an online etch-a-sketch ring. As part of the group, I maintained a blog (now defunct) with images of my drawings. (active spring 2004)

biketivism
biketivism.org

Urban biking links and resources. When I started this site, it was the only page that came up if you Googled "biketivism." My how things change, especially online. (since 2003).

Lawrence P. Wheeler Art Gallery

From 1998 through 1999, I had the luck to work for Professor Lawrence Wheeler in the Honors College at Portland State University. Among Lawrence's many gifts is a knack for producing art with image and text. In 2002, he finally relented and let me host some of his pieces in this online gallery. (est. 2002)
