Welcome to the Thirty-Seventh English Articulation Conference at Allerton Park

April 25, 26, and 27, 2001
The Allerton University and Community College Articulation Conference, sponsored by the University of Illinois Department of English, provides a forum in which to discuss the common concerns of those who teach composition and literature in two-year and four-year institutions across the state of Illinois, as well as for the presentation of research in these fields.
|
We encourage all involved in the teaching of composition and literature to submit proposals for individual and panel presentations. . |
Please consider attending the conference even if you don't plan to present. Allerton House, once a country manor and now an educational conference center, provides comfortable accommodations and a beautiful setting during the Illinois spring. The surrounding park is studded with statuary, flower beds, and arresting views.
